Seasons Change

Seasons are separations that break up the year. These separations are marked by changes in the weather. Even the behavior of the plants and animals change throughout the seasons. Seasons come and they go but they affect us all.

We have four seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter. Spring is the season where life starts. When seeds are planted and take root. In the summer, the temperatures rise. This is when growth takes place and fruit is produced. The fall is the season of harvest, where you reap from the things you've sown. It is also a time where some plants and animals go to sleep and rest. And during the winter it gets colder and darker. Things quiet down.

Just like there are seasons of the year, there are seasons in life. No matter where you are right now, whether it is a season of mourning, growth, waiting, prosperity or anything else. Just know that the season you are in will not last forever. Don't be discouraged where you are or when the season changes. Just know that each season is temporary and in proper time it will change.

There is a cyclic pattern to seasons. They repeat themselves. And depending on where you are you may experience seasons differently. Just like winters are colder and longer in the north compared to the south. The season that you are in, is dependent on your location in life. People just starting their walk in Christ may experience different seasons than a person further along in their walk.

Keep in mind there may be work that you have to do in each season. Some seasons you have to work more and some seasons you will need to rest. In some seasons your are planting seeds and other seasons you are reaping the things you've sown. Do what you need to do in each season so that you don't get stuck in anyone season longer than you need to. And don't be dismayed when the productive seasons of growth ends, just do what you need to do so that the next productive season is just as plentiful or even more.

And no matter how much things change around you, have faith in knowing that God will never change. You can count on Him to always be the same, steadfast and faithful to His word. He will be there with you through every season of your life.
