Call on Him

When you make a call, you are reaching out to someone. In most cases that person is not within your reach or eye sight. Making a call is our way of keeping in contact, It can also make the physical distance between two people seem to disappear. And when that person answers the call you can communicate with them as if they are right there in the room.

Making a call is a way to connect with those near and far. But to close the gap of distance, space and separation you have to reach out or make the call. Making the call is not hard, it just takes the will to connect and a little action on your part. Don't wait for them to contact you, if they are on your mind go ahead and take the first step.

I want you to think about this as it pertains to God. He's right there with you. He's everywhere. The Bible says that He will never leave you or forsake you. But you have to take the initiative make the call. It's that simple.

The most relatable way to call out to God is in prayer. Where you assume the physical posture of prayer. Where you get on your knees, press your hands together, close your eyes and talk to Him. You can speak out loud or in your mind. This is you choosing to have a conversation with Him, showing Him that you have some faith and that you believe that He is there.

Every call to God, does not look like that. As long as your heart and your mind are in alignment with your words. When you call out to Him, He will hear you. So, call out to Him when you need Him, when you are have physical, mental and emotional needs. Call out to Him in praise and worship. When you are happy, grateful, thankful. Call out to Him when you want to get to know Him. Call out to Him when you are in trouble and need help. Call out to Him in any and every situation but it's up to you to make the call.

He is listening, He is waiting for you and He wants to respond. So make the call. Be sincere and say what you have to say but also take the time to listen. Open your eyes and ears to His response to you. It all stats with you calling out to Him. This is also how you build your personal relationship with Him.
