I was content in the way I was serving the Lord. Following all the rules and guidelines of my church. I paid my tithes. I was an active member of my church. By all accounts I was a good person. But deep down inside I was unsure of where I stood with the Lord.
During this time I started watching a show on YouTube called Precious Testimonies. And this show changed my whole life. This is a show where people of all walks of life share their testimonies about God. I watched hundreds, if not a thousand of these testimonies. I became addicted to these stories. I quickly realized that these people were talking about a God that I knew nothing about. A God who spoke to them, responded to them. A God who led them.
There was a common thread between all their stories, at some point God intervened. He heard them and responded to them. And when God intervened not only did He become real to them in a big way. But their whole life changed. The conditions and circumstances of their lives were changed for the better. These stories were powerful and amazing.
I was hooked. I wasn't sure if anything would happen but I wanted to know God like this. I set aside everything that I thought I knew about God, I decided to read the bible and talk to God in prayer everyday. This became my new daily habit. I found peace and joy and my life slowly began to change. And this was good enough for me.
But this was just the beginning. After five months of my new walk with Christ, God literally stepped in. I began to have experiences and encounters with God. I was filled with His holy spirit. I've had an awakening of my spiritual gifts and I get an uncanny response to my prayers. God is so amazing and He blows my mind all the time.
My entire life has changed. My life has real purpose and it all began with building a deep personal relationship with God. It was all so simple. I never knew how real God was until I started watching a show on the internet. A show called Precious Testimonies. I decided to get to know God for myself and it worked. Thank you Precious Testimonies, I thank God for your ministry it changed my life.
