The Unseen World Around Us, Ephesians 6:10-17

There are good and bad forces all around us. Guiding us and influencing our thoughts and actions. We need to be aware that there are things working together for our good but there are also things that work against us. For me it is all very black and white, good or evil, positive or negative, right or wrong. My outlook is that everything is either heavenly inspired or it is not.

This world is full of distractions and I believe that anything that distracts you from God's purpose is a trick of the enemy. The Devil is not dumb at all. He is very slick, sneaky and conniving in his ways. All he wants to do is to shift your focus away from the truth of God. And if you give him your ear he will fill it with lies.

We need to constantly be aware that there is an unseen battle going on. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in heavenly places (NLT Ephesians 6:12). Spiritual warfare is very real. But there is no need to fear because we have everything we need for protection. God is on our side and has given us all that we need to stand strong. We need to use the tools that God has given us, so put on the full armor of God.

When you know what you are up against, you can recognize it's influence around you. Stand strong and be confident in who you are, a child of the most high God. The enemy knows how powerful we are but he is a liar and will try to convince you otherwise. Remember this battle is not ours it is the Lords (KJV 2 Chronicles 20:15).

KJV Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
