When I think about life, I think about the daily routine of the things we do. Like chores, working, eating, sleeping. I also think about all the relationships that we maintain from our family members, our friends, co-workers to the random people we interact with as we go on about our day. And I think about all the decision making we do from the time we wake up to the time we close our eyes to rest. We cannot make a move without making some sort of decision.
Life can be overbearing but it can also be mundane. It can be a bit much if you think about all the little details and how one decision, good or bad, can affect the rest of your life. On the other hand it could seem a bit redundant when you wake up just to repeat the same cycles everyday. Your mindset and attitude have a lot to do with the life you live. How you feel about the things you do directly relate and determine the quality of your life.
My goal for my life is to do everything God has set out for me to do, so that one day I can live my forever with Him with no regrets. A long time ago, I told God that if He keep waking me up that I will keep living and working for Him. But I also asked Him that when I am done here to please let me come home. So with that in mind I try to wake up everyday motivated and encouraged because there is something more that I need to do to reach my goal.
With this mindset, I keep going because I believe that there is a purpose for my life. This helps me to make the most of my days because I don't want to mess this up. So when I say that I want to live, I am not talking about the daily physical life here on earth, I am talking about living forever in Christ. Keeping this in mind, keeps me encouraged, motivates me to live a full life and helps me to make it through each day.
Do you want to live again? How bad do you want it? What are you willing to do to achieve it?
This is your life and the choice is yours.
Romans 12:1-2 1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Psalm 118:17 17I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
John 11:26 26and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
John 3:15-18 15that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him." 16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
I am standing on this verse, with all my heart and soul:
Acts 16:31 31They replied, "Believe in the LORD Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household."
