Death

When we think about death, we think about the end of life. The permanent cessation of our body functions. Separation from those we love. The stopping of everything we know. Our last breath, the end, the conclusion. All negative thoughts.

We live our lives not thinking about it, as if not thinking about it will keep it from coming. We don't want to die. We don't want to let people go. We don't want to let go of any of the things we have and have worked so hard for. We want to live here forever but should we???

This life is temporary and death is inevitable. Keeping that in mind, we should spend more time thinking about it. Not only thinking about death but thinking about how we live this life. How we treat those around us. How we can leave this world better than we found it and how we can prepare ourselves for whatever is after this.

I have a strong belief that there is something great after this. I believe that what comes after this life is more important than the life we live here. This life is temporary but there is a reason , a purpose, a lesson and an objective for it all. I think of this life as a test and you can pass it or fail it. It is an easy decision but it is all up to you.

So when you live this life, with passing the test in mind, death doesn't worry you at all. For me I actually look forward to it because I know that death is not the end of anything. It is the beginning of something so much more. For me it means going back home and returning to my Father. The only end death represents for me, is the end of the hardships that come with this life.

Keep in mind that none of us are guaranteed a trip to Heaven after this life. But if you live your life in the best way that you can, loving and helping those around you. Doing your best to live the life the Bible asks you to live and being about Our Father's business. You stand a good chance. This life is a journey and I live each day trying to stay on the straight and narrow pathway.

Nobody's perfect and He knows this. Death is not the big monster we make it out to be and this life and this world is not our forever. Life is good but comes after this is better.

Stay focused and God Bless
