Big Problem, Small God or Big God, Small Problem?


The mind is a powerful thing. Everything in the physical world first began with a thought. You can think a thing and make it so, in your life. Your thoughts can also control your emotions and feelings. Think about it, how you think your day is going will ultimately control what type of day you will have. That's why it is so important to think positive.


Negative thoughts feed and attract negative energy and positive thought do the opposite. You can change a situation just by the energy you bring into it. This makes me think about the spiritual world. How there is good and bad things around us, trying to influence our lives. I believe that what we do, how we live and what we think controls how we are influenced by the invisible world around us. The trick is to know that we have the power to direct how it affects us.


The key is controlling what we let our minds focus on. When a problem arises in our life, we focus on the problem, allowing it to get bigger and bigger in our mind. Consuming our thoughts. While this is going on, we focus less on the other things in our life. Everything else in our life becomes small in comparison.


But think about this, If we keep our focus on God, all the time. God becomes and remains the biggest thing in our lives. He becomes the main focus of our thoughts. Then everything else fails in comparison, even our problems. Our problems appear smaller and will not consume us.


Sometimes we just have to put our thoughts in check. Change our perspective, resisting the negative thoughts and energy. This can be life changing, control your mind and you control your life.


The world is full of problems but none of them are bigger than God.


Isaiah 26:3 3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.


2 Corinthians 10:3-6 3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.


Romans 12:2 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.


Philippians 4:4-9 4Rejoice in the LORD always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The LORD is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
