A friend is defined as a person that you have a mutual bond of affection with. The urban dictionary defines a friend as someone you love who loves you, someone you trust who trusts you and someone that you respect, who respects you. A friend is honest and makes you want to be honest too. A friend is loyal.
Wow, that is a mouthful but it describes you perfectly Stephanie. Girl you came into my life when I felt like it had just been me and the Lord, for a long time. Being from Buffalo and moving to the south, I was no longer near my closest friends and family. And at my age I felt like I was just too old to be making 'new' friends. Plus being a 'New Yorker' in the heart of the south, I always felt like an outcast, different than the people around me.
During this time, I would talk to God about everything, including my lack of friends. It was actually a good time in my life because God became my friend. But despite that, it is nice to have a person to share your thoughts with. I had my husband and my son but I was missing a girl friend. And Stephanie that's when He brought you into my life.
It has been so refreshing getting to know you. I can talk to you for hours and it feels like no time has went by at all. I never have to be mindful of what I'm talking about. With you girl I can be, just me. I thank God for you all the time. And I want to thank you, for being my friend.
So, today I want to say Happy Birthday Stephanie! I love you and I want you to know that your friendship means the world to me. Have a wonderful, amazing, spectacular, outstanding day. You deserve it.
