This year has been amazing so far. It all started with me completing a task that I was given. The Lord told me to write a book. I had no clue what I was doing. And I had no idea how it would all come to pass. But I knew what he told me to do. I was obedient and did everything He told me to. And guess what? It all came to pass just as He said it would.
I learned a wonderful lesson God will equipt you with everything you need to do exactly what He tells you to do. He is not going to tell you to do something that He cannot bring to pass. I know and believe that He is speaking to us all. But many of us don't listen. I have heard so many people say that the Lord told them to do something but they have yet to get started.
When I received word from the Lord, I had never written anything. I didn't even have a computer. And I still don't even know how to type. I've type up two whole books and numerous blogs with my two pointer fingers. Well I've gotten a little better, sometimes I use my two middle fingers too...lol. But forreal, God is a miracle worker.
All we have to do is listen, be obedient and trust Him to be exactly who we say that He is. I learned to just do my part and let Him do the rest. And in the process He has blown my mind and changed my life. I never even thought that I could or would ever be an author. But look at my life now. It was all Him. It is amazing how He really knows us better than we know ourselves. He saw something in me that I never saw in myself.
My prayer was just to be able to speak about Him and His goodness with my friends and family. But now I am able to speak about Him everywhere I go. You see how He thinks much bigger than we do. I never knew I had a story worth sharing or that anyone would want to hear anything that I had to say. But God knew otherwise.
I now feel like I am standing in my purpose. There is nothing that I am more passionate about. I am motivating and encouraging others to seek a closer relationship with Him. I am traveling, speaking, writing and selling books. Who would have ever thought.??? I know I never did. And I know that this is just the beginning.
I share these things not to boast but to show you what He has done for me. Imagine what He will do for you if you seriously decide to live your life for Him too. He loves every single one of us tremendously. He has no respect of person. It does not matter what you've done in your life. As we live we try so many different things, don't leave this life without giving God a try.
The bible says that He came to give us life more abundantly. In just a short period I am already a witness to this. Let Him show you how more abundantly He can change your life. Give Him the opportunity to show you Himself. Open your heart, turn away from sin, talk to Him and read His word. It's that simple.
John 10:10 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
